The IB Program
International Honors Program
International Honors (IH) is a locally developed preparatory program for the 9th and 10th grade students. The IH program is designed to prepare students for the challenges of the IB Diploma Program at the 11th and 12th grade level. The IH curricula encourage students to explore each subject area with a sense of international-mindedness. The unique International Honors Humanities course blends the English and Social Studies subject areas as it examines elements of the Humanities in cultures around the world.
THE IB WORLD SCHOOL
The IB Program at Plano East is composed of the 9th & 10th grade International Honors preparatory program and the 11th & 12th grade International Baccalaureate Diploma program, all housed on the Plano East Senior High campus in a school-within-a-school setting.
